Apple Edge Press with past parallel limbs
Просмотров 6 тыс.4 года назад
The Apple Edge press definitely takes some work to get adjusted prior to pressing and it won't fully relax most bows, but it's a perfectly capable and safe press for almost exactly half the cost of the lowest priced model from LCA. Broadheads, Pumpkins and Water Balloons
Просмотров 2 тыс.4 года назад
Had some trouble with the arrows flying slightly tail right due to a persistent crosswind today, but otherwise the results are very similar to the 1 gallon water jug tests. Also, the pumpkins slowed the arrows down considerably more than I expected. The pumpkin shot arrows barely penetrated the Blob target behind enough to bury the head, whereas those shot through the water balloons penetrated ...
What a surprise release looks like at 4000 frames per second
Просмотров 1,9 тыс.4 года назад
Demonstration of what a "surprise release" looks like. There will be no movement detectable in the moments before the release, and the arrow will be well in front of the bow long before the archer has any chance to make any movement other than recoiling from the sudden loss of tension when the release hook detaches from the bowstring.
How broadheads react to resistance pt1

Newest high speed video of single bevel broadhead performance. I am somewhat surprised that broadhead tipped arrows stop spinning almost immediately upon meeting the resistance of solid/semi-solid/fluid objects, in this case water in a thin plastic jug that's not quite 6" across

Single Bevel Broadheads vs fletching direction at 30yards

Continuing the testing of single bevel broadheads at 30 yards. Footage is a little less clear due to intermittent clouds and a slight cross-wind.
Single Bevel Broadheads vs fletching direction
Просмотров 16 тыс.4 года назад
Testing the affect on spin rate and flight when using fletching that's both "with" and "against" the direction of a single bevel broadhead. Note1: The bow casts a bareshaft with a natural CCW (left) rotation, so that's why the left helicals begin to spin sooner Note2: I do not normally shoot single bevel broadheads so I'm generally unable to answer any questions about that style head at this ti...
PSE Perform X

High speed video of PSE Perform-X. Observations are this particular bow has more riser flex than most other bows I've watched in slo-mo, and also the string appears to be catching the cable slide on the 2nd oscillation.

Thanks so much for your great videos! They are very informative. Do you have plans for your tensioning spinner system?
Powergrip? Halo? Angel majesty?
Yeah that whisker biscuit is pretty sweet
Thank You so much for your professional video. 🙂👍👏

Thank You so much for your professional video.
Ancher doesnt change but the bow position does When the bow position changes the body position changes
Have the center serving wrapped the same direction and see if you get the same results/ I would say center serving is the cause not the twist
great men, thank you for data
looks like you put a piece of tape on your concrete ?
Trophy Taker still the champion.
Seams like the arrow going through the whisker biscuit started turning sooner. Do you want the arrow flying straight or should it spiral through the air?
Thank you. Nice simple to the point explanation. Wonderful video.
do you have a parts list to build that stretcher/twister?
11-2-2024
Man, this bow and arrow setup is TUNED. There's absolutely zero nock travel. I wish i could tune my setups like that, i can never tune those tears out completely.
So 4 twist will get you about 1/16 in drawlength?
Your over thinking it
Please for the serial number and product key for the activation of Autocad 2016
The arrow on the drop away moves down unlike the whisker one which basically stays in the same line
Great perspective video
Show us the limb tips where it probably rubbed the decals off from sliding in the fingers because thats what hqppens
What a fantastic experiment with well presented data. I'm tired of poorly executed tests with inconsistencies and subjective conclusions. Bravo and thank you
Id love to see a slow mo of Hamskea Hybrid Hunter Pro. See if they have bounce back.
Thank you for your work and posting these videos which speak for themselves and show the error of much conventional wisdom regarding these topics..
I know this is old but I have searched for a while now on how this ever worked or made sense and this is by far the best I've seen explaining it. Thank you.
This video needs to be Goat’d immediately!
In germany we call this „ein astreiner Pfusch“ in professional circles also known as „riesen Murks“. 👍🏻😊
that's why i'm using IQ bowsights 😊
i got 2 brand new rip cord code reds for sale after this vid lol
I like the wisker biscuit just need harder schorten vains perfect also the speed is almost always the same +- 1 whit drop away it is +- 5 en yes rotation is faster
Awesome video collection of your string builds! Do you by chance have a work up of your jig build? Probably the best I've seen yet!
Great video
Well!? If I wanted to save money, I'd go with the whiskerbisket.😊
Can you change cam lean and limb deflection
I have zero issues with my whisker biscuit Nothing can malfunction Do they discolor your vanes? Yes I'm not vain about my vanes 😂
Whisker biscuit $10 & been working for ever.
I use right offset but both position is good stability for arrow flight, the difference is arrow spin to clockwise or counterclockwise..
great job
This suggests that porpoising won't result, it certainly will with those nock angles
Missing the right helical to see what happens.
Leuk mijn intrese top
Seems it didn’t really matter what configuration you had they went in the dot. Wonder how much difference it makes when a human shoots the bow. Does more rpm mean more forgiveness or does it not matter much as long as there is some spin.
A consistent anchor point doesn't matter, as long as you can draw (look) a straight line from the peep to the pin to the bullseye. Conversely, you don't need a peep sight, if you can consistently anchor to exactly the same location (with consistent body positioning) and then put the pin on the bull. Pick one.
Arrow speed with this test would have been awesome
Just saw this video. With a movable pin, the sight housing is moved for the yardage. With the fixed pin, the bow end is slightly raised to alignin target so this less of a change.
Great work. Whats the difference between 3 deg offset and helical? It looked the same in the photo comparisons.
So create and market an oval peep.
The major issue, is that the arrow remains in contact with the rest longer when using the whisker biscuit, it is accurate if you hold still for as long as possible after release. Just a small movement can send the arrow off target, I find that the drop away is more forgiving and of course increases speed a little bit. However a drop away rest has moving parts, which can be a major issue. 🤷♂️ pick your poison.
I agree with that. I find it I shoot and if my form isn't 💯 perfect the arrow will move in any random direction
